Nina Ricci Resort 2013
It is a refreshing collection of Peter Copping for the venerable brand. Rarely have we run across a

collection that do not really need an explanation, and it is more or less explicitly. Mrs. Ricci's

definitely young, fit, something a little retro, confident and above all, bohemian, she appreciates the

original design. The words come to mind are fresh, "fuzzy," sweet, pretty and ethereal. Mr. Copping teases

us with some custom parts, but focuses on the ultra-feminine side of fashion with the use of tabs,

georgette and jersey, the soft palette and quieter side of sex appeal.

Emilio Pucci
Peter Dundas has been working hard to restore the brand in the arena of luxury fashion. Although I was not

a believer at first, I came here to the brand in its new incarnation as a sexy and much younger than the

original jersey Pucci dresses that look set to the mark on the fashion map. My question about this

collection is, "what were you thinking?" Yes, the collection is pretty, yes, it is commercial, it seems so

much like St Laurent warmed up, and yes, there is an indefinable group of very generic. The prints are

forgettable, as the pieces are too hard and customized themes and the only thing that caught my attention

were the caftans.

Gucci
Frida Giannini has returned to reaffirm the 50s/60s and 70 reached Gucci scarf and found the wonderful

floral prints, which were by the likes of Grace Kelly and Deans of the world's favorite company. Mining in

the archives takes a lot of talent as a designer helped because of the difficulty that this relic seems

new and fresh. The collection station has its moments, but the "Flower Power" problem is not busy with

retro shapes and positioning in strange clothes. Apart from the black or white backgrounds, colors appear

more Fallish cognac and retro-shaped thin trouser combinations seem irrelevant. The bottom line is just

outside the floral structure, it is once again nothing new here!
