a new year in fashion is starting

Was it the year of Karl Largerfeld or Roberto Cavalli? Raf Simons or Hedi Slimane? No doubt about it, 2012 saw countless changes among top designers at the helm of major brands. John Galliano was ousted at Christian Dior. Alexander Wang replaced Nicholas Ghesquiere at Balenciaga. Stefano Pilati was out and Yves Saint Laurent became Saint Laurent Paris.at Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane’s urban prints, and Marc Jacobs Dickensian wonderland.

 Now it’s 2013 and a new year in fashion is starting…thus, we must pay homage to the designers who made 2012 so great and get ready for what’s in store for 2013.
