Trackpads are ok for some stuff, but mostly replacement when a mouse is not an option. We've yet to see tablets being widely used for work (few people do, but most don't). That nub thing is interesting but mostly used for jokes. 3D ideas like Leap Motion are interesting but not widely adopted and seems to have problems with long hours usage. And then there's stuff like Hydra and others that goes the same line as Leap Motion... they are interesting, but don't replace a mouse. HP was convinced by someone that touchscreen desktops would be the next thing. They ended up giving them away in Happy Meals just to get them off the shelves and make room for computers and screens that people wanted.

 If there is one thing I cannot STAND, it's fingerprints on my desktop screen. Plus when I reach out toward my desktop screen, my arm is still about a foot short of reaching it. My work requires a lot of database input and pinpoint precision graphic work. Even the  Louis Vuitton new arrivalmouse pointer doesn't always get close enough, so my finger will simply not do. I have to say, while it makes sense that Mindy would invest in a Birkin because a) she’s wildly successful and b) she loves other big designer names like Chanel, I initially felt slightly betrayed by her big Birkin splurge. various protocols / devices for the "AllCast" media streaming app since Google's changes cut it off from the Chromecast (for now at least), and Apple's screen sharing feature is the latest target. There are other apps in the Play Store that connect Android devices over AirPlay
